What Is QR & Private Link Access?

In Facerog, every event has its own unique QR code and private link. Your event never appears in a public list or directory; only people who scan that QR code or hold the private link can get in.

You decide exactly who to share the link with. You deliver it to guests by email, message, or a QR code placed at the venue — and no one else can reach the photos and videos. This keeps your event entirely within a closed, invite-based circle from start to finish.

How It Works in Facerog

When you create your event as the organizer at admin.facerog.com, Facerog automatically generates a unique event link and QR code for you. You can place this QR code on invitations, table cards, screens, or around the venue.

When your guest scans the QR code or taps the link, they land directly on your event's welcome screen. Someone without the link won't even know the event exists, because it is never listed publicly anywhere.

Two Layers of Access: Link + Selfie Verification

Private access becomes a two-layer safeguard when combined with Facerog's selfie access. In the first layer, only those who know the QR code or link can reach the event. In the second layer, each attendee takes a liveness-verified selfie and sees only the photos and videos that match their own face.

As a result, even someone who knows the link can't browse other people's photos at random; everyone reaches only their own shots. Access to the event and access to a personal gallery are protected separately.
