Upload options and practical field tips

The sync screen offers the same options as the web album uploader: send originals, or a stripped-metadata, compressed version. A Wi-Fi-only guard lets you work without burning through mobile data.

Sync runs while the app is in the foreground, so the screen is kept awake. In the field, the safest setup is to keep the phone charging with the app open. If a connection or permission issue comes up, the app states the reason and the exact recovery step.
